Farmer’s Forum
Explaining (NAIS) NATIONAL ANIMAL
IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
An event for livestock owners, all rural
residents or anyone who eats, will be
held December 13 at Chilllicothe’s Grand
River Inn. Doors will open @ 2:30 pm.
Rural citizens will be sharing their
knowledge of private property rights,
current legislation dealing with
livestock and what the property owners
need to
know to make decisions on Premise ID and
NAIS for all ages and interests of the
rural life style.
Educational booths will include: R-Calf
USA, Paragon Foundation, Citizens for
Local Control, C.A.P.E., Ozark Property
Rights Congress, Common Sense
Coalition, MO Fed and information on the
Eminent Domain petition and other
active local groups will also have
information on hand.
Missouri’s own Derry Brownfield (
http://www.derrybrownfield.com
) will share the
forefront with his cohort G.B. Oliver,
Ex VP of Paragon Foundation
(http://www.paragonfoundation.org
). Laughs
with good information will be guaranteed
when the two ol’ cowboys ride together.
Ahead of Derry and GB, R-Calf USA’s
Dennis Thornsberry, Marketing Committee
Co-Chair will bring us good information
about the livestock industry. R-Calf
(

) was the organization who tried
to stop Canadian cattle from
entering our country after BSE was
confirmed. Dennis will share the podium
with fellow Missourians Russell Woods,
Ray Cunio, Doreen Hannes and Bob Parker
from Citizens for Private Property
Rights and Ozark Property Rights to
share
where they have been and where they are
going to maintain personal property
rights and who they are standing with
and who they are standing against.
Other invited groups are USDA, MoCA, Mo
Dept of Ag and Farm Bureau.
Those local elected officials invited to
attend are Rep. John
Quinn/Chillicothe, House Ag Policy
Committee Chairman, Brad Lager, Rep. Jim
Horton/Trenton, Rep. Tom Shively, Sen.
Wes Shoemyer, Clarence, Rep. Jim Guest
and local commissioners, with all being
invited.
Dinner With The Speakers will be 5-6.
